Al Yamamah College

Last Tuesday we went to visit Al Yamamah College for women in Riyadh.. Students expressed their keen interest in participating in the JEF Collegiate Business Venture Award 2007. In their first year, Al Yamamah College opened officially in 2006, the students were ready to take part and show their skills in preparing business plans.
Wishing them all the bestand we look forward to seeing their work.

Rules and Regulations

Business plans may be submitted by individuals or by teams no more than 5 members [however team leader will be the one receiving the award and attending the training and internship events].
Each unique business plan must be submitted by students currently enrolled in their undergraduate studies [Juniors and Seniors only].
Any area of commercial endeavor is valid pertaining to franchising or other methods of business expansion of an existing service operation.
All applications must be the original work of those making the submission, plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.
Partially completed applications will not be accepted. Online applications are due by 6 p.m. KSA time on February 14, 2007.
Applicants risk disqualification if they attempt to approach a judge, or have someone do that on their behalf, in connection with the competition.
The decisions of the judges are final, including interpretation of the rules.
The winning Business Plan entered in the JEF Collegiate Business Venture Award becomes the sole property of Al Baik Food Systems Company S.A.
Employees and the families of employees of Jeddah Marketing Board, Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Jeddah Economic Forum, Al Baik Food Systems and its affiliates, SACCS/TRACCS Public Relations are not allowed to participate.
All participants must sign a release and waiver form (below) – unsigned forms will not eligible for participation.
